Will SARS refund if the old banking details are used and the account is closed?

I went to SARS to change my banking details. . Was told it was submitted. Bt when I file. It will automatically pull out the old banking details. Of which the account is closed. . Should I do eFiling. Will the bank reverse it to SARS and thy can do a refund in my account? Please help. .

You can go ahead and file, but change the banking details on your tax return to the one that is now correct. SARS shouldn't ask for any documents again as it is done on their backend.
