What should my "pay periods worked" be?

There are pay periods in tax year which is 12 on all my IRP5's, but under Pay periods worked it differs from 12 to 6? what should I submit?

You must submit it exactly as written on your IRP5, unless you disagree with the number of months you worked. The total number of pay periods in the year would be 12, but you may only have worked 6 months out of those 12.
