Did you work abroad for a South African company and receive an IRP5?

Yes

You would then need your IRP5, passport copies demonstrating you were out of SA. Contract of employment from your employer stating you worked outside of SA and how much you earned during that period. Please answer these questions on Foreign income as exempt to see if you qualify for tax exemption.
