What other documents are required besides submitting an affidavit?

I worked for a company for one day and I haven't tax returned due to personal circumstances in 2014. I have been unemployed ever since. SARS is requesting I think an ITR12 / IRP5. I cannot submit either of these documents. What do I do besides get an affidavit?

You could also submit any letters/emails which would prove that you only worked for 1 day if possible.
That, together with the affidavit, should be sufficient to satisfy SARS.

Thank you for your response.ive called the company nd the manager that I worked with no longer works there. They giving me the run around at head office.
Saying that they need to look manually into the documents and it will take a while before getting back to me.
Would SARS not accept the affidavit as is? SARS has given me 3 weeks to submit. I have 2 weeks left.

Yes, in this case, the affidavit should be sufficient.
