What does "SARS has issued correspondence which requires your attention" mean?

By Marc Sevitz · Updated

I've received an email from SARS stating "SARS has issued correspondence for xxxxx which requires your attention, to view either navigate to the respective work page or the SARS correspondence menu". When I go to the correspondence menu it tells me "there are no records available for your selection". So what does this email mean if there's nothing there? I've submitted my return and received a refund 2 days later.
Many thanks

It is an old email, SARS' systems seem to be sending these out after the assessment has been finalised. Otherwise change the date on the notices period to a week or two ago and there may have been something older.

Thank you! I'll just ignore it then!
