Unable to register on eFiling

Hi there. I followed the steps on TaxTim regarding filling in my info and even redeemed my coupon. I clicked on the Efiling page and tried to register but is showed an error message saying it was unable to verify my information and I should call the contact centre. I proceeded to call the contact centre and they had all my details on the system , the same ones I have but for some reason the system will not allow me to register. Please help. The consultant suggested I pop into a branch.

Hi Samantha, thanks for using our service and making it through to the end! From what I understand if the call centre had your details for eFiling already then you wouldn't need to register on the eFiling website, just login using your existing details. Did you try that? There is also a feature that would help you get your password back if you forgot it on the eFiling website. You probably won't have to go into a SARS branch to solve the problem, just find a more helpful call centre person!
