Travel Expenses - commission

I work for a company. I am contracted out to a client. I gather I can claim travel costs from work to the client? I have maintained a log book but I have not received a travel allowance on my payslip from my company. How do I claim the travel expenses?

Is more than 50% of your salary made up of commission?

Unfortunately SARS are very specific on when travel claims can be claimed i.e only if commission makes up over 50% of the overall amount earned.

Since you are using your car for business, you should be able to claim wear and tear on it.
