Timing of additional tax rebate on attaining age 65, how does it get calculated?

I turn age 65 in August this year. Will I receive the additional "over 65" tax rebate (currently R 6 390) for the full 2013/14 tax year or will this be pro-rated from the month after I turn 65 (ie September 2013)?

As long as you have turned the age of 65 by the last day of the tax year - so February 28 2014 you will be entitled to the secondary rebate.
