Please explain the taxation of monthly disability pension payments?Please explain the taxation of a lump sum disability grant/payment?

The lump sum is taxed according to a specific SARS table and depends on whether you received at retirement or from a fund or straight from a previous employer. Please provide more detail on the payments.
