Taxable Earnings

I always see on my payslip the word TAXABLE EARNINGS. Do I have to claim that amount?

This means the amount of earnings on which you will pay tax.

You can only claim tax back from SARS if you complete a tax return and have overpaid tax to SARS for the year.
