Tax return assessed but no refund

My tax assessment was completed and verified and an additional assessment issued. My SOA reflects I am owed a refund even tho the ITA34 shows an adjustment to the original. My SOA says not selected for further verification, that was on the 15th of July and to date have not heard anything further or received a letter of completion. What could the delays be? On SARS eFiling it shoes that my tax is assessed. Thanks

Yes, all previous years are completed.
If the SOA shoes not selected for audit or verification, surely that means nothing further?
