Tax deductable?
By Marc Sevitz · Updated
1. Personal insurance for home and car
2. Membership fees to religious organization
3. Paying my child's university fees
4. Monthly fees for home security and maintenance service
Thanking you.
Unfortunately none of these expenses are deductible for tax purposes as they are not spent in earning income.
If however you make donations to your religious organisation and it is a registered Public Benefit Organisation then you would be able to deduct these donations up to a maximum of 10% of your taxable income.
