Second Verification at SARS?

I filed my return and was selected for audit/verification due to the fact that my employer hadn't yet submitted our IRP5's to SARS. I sent through all my supporting documents and waiting for response. I then received a completion letter 15 days later, along with my SOA indicating my refund amount. Further wait of a week, I now have received a second letter requesting supporting documents again? I phoned the contact centre and they advised that I was selected for a second verification and needed to submit documents again. I have no further supporting documents to send other than the original ones I sent through? What could be the reason for a second verification? Is this common occurrence with SARS?

It is common and happening more so in 2014. It is based on a selection engine SARS have which is still not happy with the original audit. Send them the exact same information and documents you gave in the first verification.
