Med aid and RA on my IRP5?

The amount on my IRP5 for code 3810/4005/4474 (all the same R23022) but more than the amount indicated on the medical aid tax certificate (R22092). Which amount do I use for filing purposes.

Also, I contribute to retirement annuity privately and for the period 1 March 2013 - 28 February 2014 paid R17080. do I put the same amount for code 4006/4007?

You don't need to put anything on the medical if it is on your IRP5, you would only put the out of pocket expenses.

The retirement contribution would go under 4006 for the current year.
