I was on the employer medical aid for 9 months which amounted to R21 384 for the rest of the tax year I was on my own medical aid and the total became R6780. What do I put on 4040 either amounts or do I only put R6 780. Also will my son's speech therapy be considered a total of R1 725 on 4022? When I calculate the result it shows nothing on 4008. Is this right?

You would put the portion you paid for medical aid next to source code 4040. If you are seeing 0 next to code 4008 have a look at our latest blog - Medical Aid
