How long would my refund take to pay out if its under Verification Audit?

SARS can take anywhere between a few days to 9 months to verify and make payment. Unfortunately once you are in the audit stage of your return process it can take a very long time. Best advice to be patient and forget about it until the refund comes into your account otherwise you will have unnecessary stress!
