How long does take to receive your refund after 30 days audit process is completed

Hi My mother submitted her tax returns in August she was selected for an audit on her 2014 tax returns which the statement of account issued has 21 000 she submitted all her required docs but nothing has happened since then. And to make matters even worse she never received a letter stating she is selected for an audit. So how long does the audit process take and is there something we can do to speed up the process
