How long after it34 will I receive letter of comoletion

Hi, I did my husbands tax return via SARS eFiling. SARS asked for supporting documents and i've sent it. On Monday 7th Sept i've received an additional ITA34 on SARS eFiling but not yet the completion letter. How long will this take?

You should receive the completion letter soon after receiving the revised assessment.
The whole audit process can take up to 21 working days though.
You could always call SARS on 0800 007 277 to follow up with them.

Thank you very much for help. Another question though. SARS ask for old tax returns until 1994. He didn't py tax then so no IRP5'S available. I can't even remember he's salary or employees? How do I do now? Thanks again

You need to swear an affidavit that no IRP5 existed for these years and explain the reasons why. You then need to take these affidavits to SARS.
