Earn a salary but fill my own fuel

Hi, hope you can assist me with a question. I currently earn a basic salary as I'm employed as a rep, I fill my own fuel when going out to see customers. My question is : can I claim for km I travel for business?
Does the company not reimburse you for mileage? Do you not earn commission?
No they don't currently, only basic, but I do earn commission.
Is the commission more than 50% of your overall income earned?
No, I haven't earned more than 50 percent commission as yet.
Just wanted to know if its possible to claim back fuel even if I haven't made commission of 50 percent as yet.
