Certificate pre-populated on return that I have not received

My previous employer submitted a certificate which I have not received. I am following up with the contact people from previous employer but they cannot trace the certificate. Can I remove the certificate from my tax return, or should I submit the tax return with the certificate reflecting even though I haven't received the certificate?

You should submit the tax return with the certificate, as that is what contains your PAYE already paid.
