Can one delete / cancel a SARS dispute once started?

I was recently audited by SARS and was unsure as to how they got to their results. As I was considering a dispute and unsure about the process I clicked on the dispute button, and a blank dispute was automatically saved.

I have now decided not to dispute, how can I delete this blank dispute so that the case will proceed?

If you have opened a dispute you will not be able to delete it. So you need to call 0800 00 7277 and ask them to close this.
