Can my retirement annuity and charity contributions paid by my spouse be claimed by my spouse

Unemployed for past financial year and spouse paid my retirement annuity contributions and donations . Can he claim my retirement annuity contributions and donations against my spouses tax
Unfortunately not, these must be claimed by the person who benefits from the. However if the donations certificates are in his name then he can claim those.
Thank you for the email. If I become employed in this financial year, can I claim the retirement annuity payments and charity payments for 2014/2015 in the 2015/2016 tax year.
Does it not make a difference that we are married community of property?

You then need to file a tax return for the 2015 tax year, include these donations and retirement contributions, then in the 2016 year SARS will allow some of them as deductions.
