Can I claim for travel expenses without any records?

I am a freelancer which I started in June 2015
I did not keep a log book
am I still able to do any sort of travel claim as I spent most of my time driving out to clients

Are you able to recall your travel log though and write it down. SARS requires a logbook in the event they audit you.

I would be able to recall it
However I won't be able to get my full kilometers traveled over the tax year

You need to reconstruct it as accurately as possible and remember to keep one going forward!
