Aviation License upgrades and renewals deductions

Im in the aviation training side of the industry and therefore I need to upgrade as well as renew my license every year in order to continue working. Some of the training I have done has been on loan with the company I work for, which I repay every month however some of it I have also payed cash. Can I claim any of these as deductions on my ITR12?

Unfortunately not, these are not expenses which you can claim as deductions. They assist in the overall professional upskills, similar to a university degree.
