As a financial planner, what deductions can be claimed?

Do you work for a specific company as an employee or earn commission from several companies and effectively work for yourself?

I work at a specific company but earn commission from different product providers. This commission is paid into my employer's bank account and my portion then gets paid from my employer's bank account to myself.

You will be able to deduct expenses such as travelling costs and Home office expenses? and other business related costs associated with earning that income.
