Are some tax payers exempt from completing a tax return in South Africa?

Second question: What is the current tax threshold which I understand as not having to pay tax if you earn less than the tax threshold, correct?

Yes those taxpayers who earn less than R250 000 and only have one employer and no deductions or other income or expenses need not submit a tax return.

Oh, just another quick question: not needing to submit a tax return if you earn less than R250000, did you mean earning less than R250000 in total per year, right?
