How to get income tax refund if I don't have bank account?
Unfortunately you do need a bank account in order to obtain your tax refund. The best solution is to go to Capitec Bank and open a simple savings account, wait a few days and then upload these banking details. Thereafter you can close this account or leave it open. There are very minimal banking charges.

In case of Individual tax return filing, SARS is asking for broken period affidavit where employee joined or left the company in mid year.
Can you please confirm if this is an additional requirement from SARS as because in previous year we have not received any such requirement.

Yes, they are now going exceptionally far and asking for these affidavits to be provided.
