After an audit has been completed, will SARS use my 'original IT34A assessment'?

I recently filed my tax return through the eFiling thing and I was told by SARS that I am being audited. Because I am new to the eFiling thing, I submitted my return twice. The 'original assessment' which showed a -R3,684.00 amount contains the most accurate information as the main difference I noticed between the 'additional assessment' (which stated that I owe SARS over R2,000 ) and the 'original assessment' was the number of people covered on medical aid. In the original assessment, it stated 3 (which is the correct one) and on the additional it stated '1'. My medical aid certificate (which I submitted to SARS) states 3 people covered on medical aid and not 1. So in other words, the assessment on my 'original assessment' would be the correct one, if I am to assume. Anyway, I received a letter of completion from SARS on the 17th October but I am unsure of how much will be paid to me. I requested for a statement of account via eFiling and it now states that I will be paid R1,600.00 as opposed to the previous R3,684.00? Why is SARS using the incorrect additional assessment which contains the wrong calculations (of 1 member on medical aid) and not the original assessment? Can you please shed some light here as this is all very confusing?

They have not taken the medical certificate into account properly, you can file an objection by clicking Dispute on the additional assessment and completing a Notice of Objection stating your reasons for disputing the assessment. Remember to submit all your documents for review again.
