accidently claiming for longer than I should have

Hi Tim...Tx for your helpfull blog..i have handed in my tax forms together with the amount I claimed. When I packed my receipts etc away I noticed I made an error...I have by accident claimed for a longer period...up till September 2014. I noticed my mistake and redone it but being in a hurry I grabbed the wrong document in the morning.Needless to say I received an sms from SARS wanting me to send my receipts etc. to them.my plan was to go back on this Friday to rectify the mistake but I feel like such a fool and red in my face! of course ill have to go in as it was requested that I do. I claimed for R18000 but it only amounts to R5000...what is going to happen to my case now.(That happens if you do your tax 3 o clock in the morning!

Don't worry when you go in just explain what happened and take your correct receipts with you and nothing will happen to you!
