A donation of R100 000 to children will it reduce your tax or what is the benefits of doing it?

If you declare a R100 000 donation to your children will it help reducing you tax or what benefits is there in doing it?

No, it will not help in anyway other than possible estate planning so that when you pass on your estate is smaller and therefore less Estate Duties will be payable.

Other than that, it is nice thing to do for your kids!
