SARS refund on hold - do not have the historic tax returns

I don't have copies of my outstanding tax returns for previous years, SARS has put my refund on hold
It looks like you need to file 2014 and 2017. Please see our blog on What to do if you don't receive an IRP5

Were you working in 2014 and 2017 and do you have the relevant IRP5s if you were?
If yes, then please start a tax return for these years on TaxTim and follow the onscreen prompts to complete and submit them.

I submitted my affidavit via the SARS upload portal however I keep getting the letter stating my refund onhold due outstanding tax returns . the company I worked for 2014 to January 2017 closed down.

We suggest you make a SARS Appointment to resolve those tax years.
